Philadephia Flyers top prospect Matvei Michkov was added to the preliminary Russian National team roster for the upcoming Liga Stavok Big National Team Tour.

Philadephia Flyers top prospect Matvei Michkov was added to the preliminary Russian National team roster for the upcoming Liga Stavok Big National Team Tour.

In 47 games with HK Sochi in the KHL this season, Michkov had 19 goals and 22 assists. The high-flying offensive talent continues to show why he had potential No. 1 overall pick potential.

Michkov's KHL contract still has term left on it, but things can change in a moment, as seen with other Flyers Russian prospects Ivan Fedotov and Alexei Kolosov.

Should he make the team, Michkov will participate in the tournament from May 2nd to May 11th. Along with Russia, two other national teams will participate, Kazakhstan and Belarus.

This national level will only bring more excitement for the Flyers organization.
