The Pittsburgh Penguins continue to shuffle their roster after placing Alex Nedeljkovc on LTIR.
The Pittsburgh Penguins continue to adjust their roster after revealing goalie Alex Nedeljkovic was dealing with a lower-body injury.
After moving Nedeljkovic to long-term injured reserve, the Penguins have recalled forwards Radim Zohorna and Vinnie Hinostroza from the AHL.
Yesterday, goalie Magnus Hellberg was recalled to fill the open goalie slot on the roster.
As part of the Hellberg move, the Penguins also recalled forward Corey Andonovski and re-assigned Zohorna.
Those corresponding moves were likely just paper transactions to clear the appropriate cap space.
With Nedeljkovic on LTIR, the Penguins were able to utilize their final open spot to give them a full 23 names on the active roster.
How the official lineup will look is yet to be seen, but the Penguins are looking to put an end to their current three-game losing streak.
With Nedeljkovic moved to LTIR, the earliest he can return to the lineup is November 19 against the Vegas Golden Knights.
