The Pittsburgh Penguins have finally concluded the search for the lost Jaromir Jagr bobbleheads.
PITTSBURGH – After almost two weeks of searching, the Pittsburgh Penguins have confirmed that the shipment of Jaromir Jagr bobbleheads has been recovered and is ready for proper distribution. Fans with proper vouchers will be able to receive their bobbleheads on April 6 and 7.
In a statement from the Penguins, a special cargo recovery team negotiated the return of the shipment to a warehouse in Ontario, California. The truckload made its way to Pittsburgh and will arrive at PPG Paints Arena within a week.
The Penguins initially announced the cargo theft on March 14, the day the Jagr bobbleheads were set to be handed out to fans in attendance. It didn’t take long for the lost bobbleheads to become one of the biggest stories in the sport.
Jagr was in town at the time, and the Penguins took full advantage by creating good content to help continue promoting the bobbleheads.
Details on how to receive the bobbleheads are listed on the Penguins’ website.
