The Pittsburgh Penguins will play a number of regulars against the Ottawa Senators in Halifax.
Preseason games usually don’t feel special or exciting, but when the Pittsburgh Penguins take on the Ottawa Senators, it’ll be a memorable night for many.
One person in particular that the game will be special for is Penguins captain Sidney Crosby, as he will get to play an exhibition game in his home province of Nova Scota, Canada.
Halifax will be the site of the contest and Crosby and his teammates have spent the weekend bonding around the area he grew up.
The Penguins took part in a scavenger hunt around Halifax and a practice in Crosby’s childhood rink in Cole Harbour.
Crosby will be in the lineup for the Penguins which will take place at the Scotiabank Centre in Halifax Nova Scotia.
Outside of Crosby, the Penguins will once again trot out a lineup of mostly starters; Evgeni Malkin, Kris Letang, Erik Karlsson, and Tristan Jarry are among those suiting up.
Guys fighting for positioning on the roster have also be listed on the roster like Alex Nylander, Vinnie Hinostroza, and Radim Zohorna.
Ryan Graves is also a native of Nova Scotia, Canada and he will be in the lineup, as well.
This will be the Penguins’ fifth preseason game of seven as they prepare for the 2023-24 season.
