No city is safe from Sidney Crosby when the Pittsburgh Penguins make a visit.
In his 18th season with the Pittsburgh Penguins, Sidney Crosby continues to knock down milestones that prove why he’s one of the greatest to ever play the game.
Crosby’s most recent milestone took place in a Penguins’ loss to the Dallas Stars, but it’s the location that matters.
Over the years, Crosby has scored at least a goal against every NHL team, but not every city.
With his goal in the second period against the Stars, Crosby scored for the first time in the City of Dallas.
There are currently 31 road cities in the NHL and Crosby has scored in all of them.
Including Pittsburgh and the Atlanta Thrashers into the count, Crosby has played in 33 NHL cities and scored at least once in each one.
Even new franchises like the Vegas Golden Knights and Seattle Kraken have seen Crosby score on their ice.
Crosby isn’t well liked in a number of arenas around the NHL, especially in the Metropolitan Division, but that brings out some of his best play.
In 593 career road games, Crosby has scored 250 goals and 418 assists for 668 points.
There have been rumors of the NHL expanding to cities like Houston, Quebec City, or even back to Atlanta.
If the NHL opens up shop in a new town, it’ll be Crosby’s duty to get there and tally at least once to hold this impressive stat.
