The San Jose Sharks (17-48-8) return home to take on the Seattle Kraken (30-30-13), who have 2022 No. 4 overall pick Shane Wright back in the lineup.
The Sharks ended their nine-game losing streak with a 4-0 victory over the St. Louis Blues. San Jose now begins a five-game homestand.
Wright was seemingly considered the No. 1 pick in the 2022 NHL Draft but slid to the No. 4 spot. He has played three games this season and hasn't scored a point. In 56 games in the AHL with the Coachella Valley Firebirds, he has 20 goals and 23 assists.
Sharks head coach David Quinn will use the same lineup for the game against the Blues. Mackenzie Blackwood will start in goal, and Kevin Labanc will play for his third straight.
Mikael Granlund is on a four-game point streak with two goals and three assists, and Jan Rutta is on a three-game point streak with a goal and two assists.
Sharks projected line combinations:
Kostin-Granlund-Zetterlund
Eklund-Kunin-Bailey
Zadina-Sturm-Bordeleau
Labanc-Carpenter-Hoffman
Ferraro-Burroughs
Thrun-Addison
Vlasic-Rutta
Blackwood
Cooley
