Filip Zadina's two powerplay goals weren't enough as the Philadelphia Flyers beat the San Jose Sharks 3-2.

Magnus Chrona was brilliant yet again, making 39 saves. The Sharks' powerplay has been red hot as their last four team goals have all come on the man-advantage. Luke Kunin earned the primary assist on both of Zadina's goals.

The Flyers got goals from Joel Farabee, Morgan Frost, and Owen Tippett. There were nine powerplays combined between the two sides, with the Flyers converting on one of their chances. Tippett's goal was scored during a delayed penalty, and their netminder was on the bench. Sam Ersson made 26 saves.

San Jose's defense let up a lot of shots for Chrona, but the chaos was handled by the young goalie.

Flyers' head coach, John Tortorella, was suspended for tonight's game.

Joel Farabee gets behind the defense and scores his 19th goal of the season, giving the Flyers an early 1-0 lead.

Filip Zadina sets a career-high in goals with his 11th of the season on the powerplay.

Morgan Frost scored his 10th goal of the season on the powerplay with a one-timer. The Flyers came into the game with the 32nd-ranked powerplay in the NHL at 12.7%.

Filip Zadina scores again on the powerplay to make it 2-2! Klim Kostin sent it across to Luke Kunin, who slid a perfect fake-shot pass to Zadina with an open net. That assist was Klim Kostin's first point as a member of the San Jose Sharks.

Travis Konecny finds Owen Tippett with a terrific seam pass on a delayed penalty to give the Flyers a 3-2 lead. Tippett is now up to 23 goals this season.
