The Edmonton Oilers have signed former San Jose Sharks forward Mike Hoffman to a PTO.
With many NHL training camps set to begin, the 34-year-old is a late addition to the Oilers training camp.
Hoffman played 66 games for the Sharks in 23-24 and scored 23 points (10 goals, 13 assists).
He could not find the effective shooting that made him a successful player in the NHL. Injuries and a lack of overall team success also hindered the winger.
The Oilers are looking to return to the Stanley Cup Final next season.
