Stan Szeto-USA TODAY Sports - BREAKING: Sharks Prospect Unable To Participate In AHL All-Star Classic

The AHL announced that San Jose Sharks prospect Danil Gushchin will not be able to participate in the 2024 AHL All-Star Classic.

Gushchin picked up an injury last week when the San Jose Barracuda faced the Calgary Wranglers. The Barracuda are on the road today and tomorrow to play the Abbotsford Canucks, and Gushchin did not travel.

The event will be held at the home of the 'Cuda on Sunday and Monday. San Jose still has one representative participating, Shakir Mukhamadullin.

Although unfortunate for Gushchin, health is the most critical factor in Gushchin's development.
