Projected No. 1 pick Macklin Celebrini has a lot of hype around him as the 2024 NHL Draft approaches, and at the Draft Combine today, the expected San Jose Sharks pick said that 2023 No. 1 pick Connor Bedard reached out to him.

The Chicago Blackhawks forward has arguably even more hype around his draft than Celebrini has now. Despite that, Celebrini has handled all the attention extremely well throughout his entire season at Boston University and the World Juniors.

Celebrini also told media members he had a great dinner with San Jose Sharks GM Mike Grier.

"He was awesome. We went out to dinner one night," Celebrini said. "He has a great personality and we had a lot of jokes. It was cool."
