Darren Yamashita-USA TODAY Sports - Sharks Broadcaster Shares His Thoughts Of Joe Pavelski

San Jose Sharks broadcaster Randy Hahn commented on what Joe Pavelski meant to him and the organization.

Hahn has been part of the Sharks broadcasting team for a long time. In recent seasons, Hahn has been given the chance to call Stanley Cup Playoff games after the regular season ends.

It is safe to say he understands the game of hockey and has expertise in the history of the San Jose Sharks. That history wouldn't be complete without Joe Pavelski.

Here's what Randy Hahn had to say:

"Joe Pavelski was a broadcaster's dream. He fought the odds at every level of hockey. He supposedly wasn't big or fast enough to make it. But he defied the odds at every one of those levels to not only make it but to become elite. Plus, he was Mr. Nickname, which every broadcaster loves. From Little Joe to Captain America, and finally, The Big Pavelski! He was a great captain, leader, and mentor to so many of his teammates. He treated everyone equally. He's one of the finest that ever walked through our doors, and I hope he decides to join the organization someday so he can get another chance to have his name on the Stanley Cup."
