Former San Jose Sharks forward Noah Gregor became the subject of another Tom Wilson player safety incident when the Washington Capitals played the Toronto Maple Leafs last night.

Gregor was caught with a high stick along the boards, and it looked bad, too.

It was announced that Wilson was offered an in-person hearing for his actions against Gregor. Wilson has been suspended on five other occasions during his career, including a 20-game suspension for an illegal check to the head in 2018. He would appeal that suspension and win, reducing it to 14 games.

Wilson was assessed a double-minor penalty for his actions in the game. Gregor would remain in the game and play two more shifts.

The NHL announced today that Wilson was suspended for six games.
