San Jose Sharks forward Macklin Celebrini has been named to the Team Canada roster at the World Championships in May.

Celebrini finished his rookie season with 70 games played and scored 25 goals and 38 assists for 63 points.

He will now head to Sweden and Denmark for the World Championships to play for Canada, from May 9–25. He was one of the first 15 players named, which included Bo Horvat, Ryan O'Reilly, Adam Fantilli, and Noah Dobson.

He will likely be one of the most used players by Team Canada, especially since he has shown that he can be a dynamic player at this level.

Celebrini will join Alex Wennberg, William Eklund, and Will Smith as Sharks players that are going to play in the tournament.
