The San Jose Sharks (2-11-1) finish their two-game road trip against the Anaheim Ducks (7-6-0) Sunday night.
Head coach David Quinn said Mackenzie Blackwood will start in goal. Anthony Duclair will miss his second straight game with an illness.
"I don't know what our lineup might look like," Quinn said. "We had a couple [of] potential injuries that may alter the lineup. We'll know after warmups, unfortunately."
The Sharks faced a rugged Vegas Golden Knights team on Friday, and it sounds like some players came away banged up.
Quinn said that if there were a bonified injury that would cause a player to miss extended time, then a recall from the San Jose Barracuda would've been on the table.
Sharks projected lines:
Eklund-Hertl-Zetterlund
Zadina-Granlund-Kunin
Hoffman-Sturm-Lindblom
Smith-Carpenter-Labanc
Ferraro-Addison
Vlasic-Burroughs
Okhotiuk-Rutta
Blackwood
Kahkonen
The Ducks are a young team with stars like Leo Carlsson and Mason McTavish. Carlsson was drafted No. 3 overall this summer and has made his mark.
Carlsson is coming off his first career hat trick. He has six goals in his first nine NHL career games.
