The San Jose Sharks take on the Nashville Predators in the team's first road game.

The San Jose Sharks (0-3-1) take on the Nashville Predators (2-3-0) in Nashville at 5 p.m. PST.
Head Coach David Quinn has made some lineup adjustments. Defenseman Ty Emberson will make his NHL debut. Jacob Peterson will return to the lineup as well.
"With Ty, it's just an opportunity for him to get in the lineup," Quinn told San Jose Hockey Now's Sheng Peng. "One of the reasons we took him is he can defend, he can make an outlet pass, and he's got good gaps. That's really all we're asking him to do."
Quinn has decided to scratch Thomas Bordeleau and Givani Smith.
Quinn has also decided to change up the powerplay units. Throughout the start of the season, the Sharks have run a five-forward powerplay unit; according to Sheng Peng of SJHN, that is changing.
Mackenzie Blackwood will make his third start of the season. San Jose remains the last winless team in the NHL. Quinn confirmed to SJHN that Mikael Granlund will not play tonight but will play at some point during the road trip.
Sharks projected lines:
Barabanov-Hertl-Duclair
Zadina-Kunin-Labanc
Eklund-Sturm-Hoffman
Peterson-Zetterlund
Ferraro-Burroughs
Knyzhov-Rutta
Vlasic-Benning
Emberson
Blackwood
Kahkonen
The game will be broadcast on NBC Sports California and the Sharks Audio Network.
