Stan Szeto-USA TODAY Sports - Pregame Preview #52: Sharks Get Granlund & Ferraro Back Against Jets

The San Jose Sharks (14-32-5) return to action after a long layoff against the Winnipeg Jets (31-14-5) tonight.

San Jose will welcome Mario Ferraro and Mikael Granlund to the lineup as both return from injuries suffered before the All-Star break.

These two will be welcome editions, as San Jose will be without Logan Couture and Tomas Hertl.

Kaapo Kahkonen will start for the Sharks tonight. Head coach David Quinn confirmed that Nikita Okhotiuk and Kevin Labanc will be healthy scratches. He also said that Henry Thrun and Givani Smith traveled with the team but will remain on IR today and not play.

The Sharks are 4-1-1 in their last six games and will look to continue the strong play tonight.

"We want to draw from the fact that we've had success lately since the halfway point of the season," Quinn said. "It seems like a month ago that we played a hockey game, but nobody cares about that. Winnipeg is not sitting there feeling sorry for us, and nor should they. We're going to be ready to go at the drop of the puck tonight."

    Sharks projected line combinations:

    Zetterlund-Granlund-Duclair
    Barabanov-Eklund-Kunin
    Hoffman-Sturm-MacDonald
    Bailey-Carpenter-Zadina

    Ferraro-Rutta
    Vlasic-Emberson
    Burroughs-Addison

    Kahkonen
    Blackwood

Puck drop is at 4:30 PST and can be seen on NBC Sports California or the Sharks Audio Network.
