In a shocking move, the San Jose Sharks are reportedly trading defenseman Jake Walman to the Edmonton Oilers.

San Jose is reportedly getting a first-round pick and a prospect as part of the return.

Walman has been San Jose's No. 1 defenseman all season. The Sharks acquired the d-man and a 2024 second-round pick from the Detroit Red Wings for future considerations.
