San Jose Sharks began their training camp without captain Logan Couture, Yaroslav Askarov, Shakir Mukhamadullin, and Marc-Edouard Vlasic.
Askarov and Vlasic are new additions to the injury list. Couture hasn't played since his last game in January. Mukhamadullin missed the rookie faceoff with "general body soreness" but was expected to be ready for camp.
New head coach Ryan Warsofsky will update each player after each group completes their day on the ice.
Couture went on the Sharks Audio Network yesterday and spoke about how he is "attacking" his rehab.
