    San Jose Sharks leading goal scorer Fabian Zetterlund will play for Team Sweden at the 2024 IIHF World Championship.

    This will be Zetterlund's second straight time being on Sweden's World Championship roster. In four games last season, he had two goals and one assist. 

    Former Sharks defenseman Erik Karlsson is also joining Sweden's roster for the World Championship. Karlsson has not played at Worlds since the 2012 tournament. He last played for Sweden at the 2016 World Cup. He played four games and had a goal and three assists. 

    William Eklund was also invited to the World Championship but was undecided if he would play. 

    Luke Kunin (USA), Nico Sturm (GER), and Mikael Granlund (FIN) are the other confirmed players headed to the World Championship.
