On Nov. 4, EA Sports NHL incorporated all 32 head coaches, including San Jose Sharks head coach Ryan Warsofsky, into the game.
The Sharks bench boss told reporters that he participated in an event during the NHL Draft in Las Vegas to prepare for his entry into the game. His ratings are extremely high, with the lowest grade being an A-.
"Tough hair," Warsofsky joked when shown the picture of him in the game. "Wow. Not bad for our record."
Even at 4-8-2, Warsofsky has done an excellent job motivating his team and developing a new young core. His hard work is beginning to pay off, as the team has won four of its last five games.
Warsofsky said he doesn't play video games, but this is a pretty cool moment for his nephews.
"It's good for the NHL to grow the game in a lot of different ways," Warsofsky said. "I think my nephews probably care more about [me being in the game]. They play the video game. I don't really play video games, but it's good."
Each coach is put in the game with all their personalities best represented.
