The 2024 NHL offseason is nearing its end, as the San Jose Sharks and other NHL teams hold their rookie camps and tournaments.

San Jose is participating in the annual Rookie Faceoff, which the Los Angeles Kings host in El Segundo this year. Last week, the Sharks announced their traveling roster, which includes 2024 No. 1 pick Macklin Celebrini, 2023 No. 4 pick Will Smith, and fellow 2023 first-round pick Quentin Musty.

The Sharks prospects will hit the ice for a pre-tournament skate on Wednesday, which will follow with media availability.

San Jose's first tournament game will be against the NHL's newest franchise, Utah HC, on Friday at 1 p.m.

The official NHL training camp will start after the team returns from LA. The Vegas Golden Knights visit the Sharks on Sept. 22 for the first of six preseason games.
