Dominic Moore played 23 games for the Sharks and failed to score a goal, but the 13-year veteran has landed a job as part of Utah HC's inaugural broadcast team.

Last Wednesday, Utah HC announced Matt McConnell as the play-by-play man, and Moore was one of the two analysts. Nick Olczyk, son of legendary broadcaster and former player Eddie Olczyk, is the other.

McConnell is familiar with the franchise as he has been the Arizona Coyotes broadcaster since 2011.

After the 2011-12 season, the only year he was with the Sharks, Moore did not play the following 12-13 season. Moore returned with the New York Rangers in 2013 and was named the Bill Masterton Award winner.

Moore joined NBC Sports in 2021 to kickstart his broadcasting career. Later that year, he joined ESPN coverage as they became one of the NHL's two national U.S. outlets.

The Sharks sent a 2012 NHL Draft second-round pick, originally the Minnesota Wild's, to the Tampa Bay Lightning to acquire Moore. That pick was traded again to the Nashville Predators, who selected Pontus Aberg.
