San Jose Sharks leading goal scorer Tyler Toffoli won't play against the Calgary Flames on Monday due to a lower-body injury.

Sharks head coach, Ryan Warsofsky, said the veteran winger has been dealing with this injury for some time. He ruled Toffoli day-to-day and expects him to travel on the upcoming four-game road trip.

Nikolai Kovalenko will return to the Sharks lineup after being a healthy scratch for the past six games.

Shakir Mukhamadullin will miss the remainder of the season with an upper-body injury. The 23-year-old rookie had two goals and seven assists in 30 games this season.
