San Jose Sharks prospect Eric Pohlkamp is entering the NCAA transfer portal after one season at Bemidji State.

In 32 games, Pohlkamp had 11 goals and 13 assists. He also played for Team USA during the 2024 World Juniors and had a goal and two assists in seven games.

Mike McMahon of College Hockey Insider, reports that North Dakota University or Denver University is where Pohlkamp will end up.

Denver University is in the Frozen Four and will face Boston University. Goalies Magnus Chrona and Devin Cooley both attended Denver during their college careers.

McMahon ranks Pohlkamp as the top player to enter the portal, beating out Matthew Wood, the Nashville Predatords No. 15 overall pick in 2023.

The Sharks selected Pohlkamp in the fifth round of the 2023 NHL Draft.
