    The San Jose Sharks have traded Fabian Zetterlund to the Ottawa Senators.

    Zetterlund, prospect Tristen Robins, and a 4th-round pick are headed to the Senators in exchange for Noah Gregor, Zack Ostapchuk, and a 2nd-round pick.

    The deal has been made official, and the pending RFA is on the move. Zetterlund, 25, has 17 goals and 19 assists in 64 games. The Swedish winger was acquired from the New Jersey Devils in the trade that sent Timo Meier the other way.

    Per Sheng Peng of SJHN, the Sharks and Zetterlund had engaged in contract talks as Zetterlund is a pending RFA.

    Ostapchuk is 21 and is a former second-round pick. In 43 games in the NHL this season, the forward has one goal and three assists. 

    Gregor is returning to the Sharks for the second time in his career. Gregor started his NHL career with San Jose and played 178 games over four seasons. The speedy winger had 26 goals an 25 assists in that time.
