San Jose Sharks and Oakland A's TV Host Brodie Brazil announced that his time at NBC Sports is ending following the MLB regular season.
In a YouTube video, Brazil announced his surprising exit: "To satisfy your instant curiosities…. nothing "happened."

Brazil has spent a significant portion of his professional career around the Sharks. He started as a rinkside reporter and has many memories with former players like Jason Demers, Curtis Brown, Scott Hannan, and current captain Logan Couture.
Eventually, Brazil moved to the studio, where he became the in-game host of most Sharks broadcasts. He led the way on Sharks pregame, postgame, and each intermission throughout NBC Sports broadcasts.
He's seen players he used to stand with on the bench to interview after games and, between periods, turn into his co-hosts.
San Jose has reworked their game broadcast, with Drew Remenda going to TV full-time. With Bret Hedican's departure as a coach with the Anaheim Ducks, the Sharks will continue to rework their broadcast with Brazil's exit.
It is unclear what Brazil's next role will be, but being around the A's and Sharks for so long, he likely will continue to post about each team on his YouTube channel.
"It's my plan to stay centered in the sports media world. It's my desire to continue calling the Bay Area home," Brazil said. "However… I'm also a person of many interests, and it will be interesting to see how wide the horizon actually is… and what kinds of chances come my way. I am extremely motivated to find what's next, and then lean in to it…. Just like I did this last 16 years at NBC."
The Sharks are creating a fresh face on the ice, and their broadcast group is seemingly taking on a new face.
