Will Smith has officially moved into San Jose Sharks legend Patrick Marleau's house.

Smith is staying with Patrick Marleau for his rookie season. Marleau will mentor the young centerman and give him valuable advice for his NHL career.

Fellow Sharks rookie Macklin Celebrini is supposed to live with Joe Thornton, but it is unconfirmed if that move-in has become official.

Smith said he moved into the Marleau household last weekend.

"I haven't talked to him yet [about opening night]," Smith said. "I'm sure I'll see him in the house, though. I'll go in there before I leave and see the whole family."

Smith said he and Celebrini have played 2v2 mini-sticks with Marleau's kids.

"Oh, we dominate them," Smith joked about the knee hockey games. "They've got about 1,000 sticks down there."

Smith will make his Sharks and NHL debut tonight, and 20 people will be in the stands for him, including his father, who is celebrating his birthday.
