Former San Jose Sharks starting goalie Martin Jones was placed on Waivers by the Toronto Maple Leafs.

The Toronto Maple Leafs announced that they have placed former San Jose Sharks starting goalie Martin Jones on waivers.
Jones posted a 27-13-3 record with a 2.95 GAA and .887 save % in 48 games with the Seattle Kraken last season.
Jones signed a one-year $875K deal with Toronto in August. Joseph Woll has won the competition to be the backup netminder.
With the injury to Andrei Vasilevskiy, the Tampa Bay Lightning could be a team to claim Jones.
The San Jose Sharks brought in Jones in 2015. He was the starting goalie from year one through the 20-21 season. 170-121-27 was his record with Team Teal.
He started the first Stanley Cup Final game in team history during the 2016 playoffs.
