According to reports, San Jose Sharks forward Alexander Barabanov will miss time with an injury.

It's time to add Alexander Barabanov to the San Jose Sharks injury woes list.
According to Sheng Peng of San Jose Hockey Now, Barabanov will miss extended time.
"It'll be a while," head coach David Quinn told SJHN in Tampa Bay. "I don't have a hard date, but it'll be a while."
Barabanov has struggled early this season as he has failed to score a point in any of the first six games. This is the longest the winger has gone without scoring a point in his career.
According to a source close to SJHN, Barabanov reportedly broke his finger. The injury looked to have occurred late in the third period against the Florida Panthers last night. Mike Hoffman took a shot, and it looked like it caught Barabanov in the hand. He was then mauled from behind by Panthers defenders protecting the crease.

"A guy that we're counting on to be one of our top-six forwards, contribute offensively," Quinn said about Barabanov. "When you're missing him, a guy like that, three guys like that, throw him in the equation with [Couture] and Granlund."
San Jose is the last team in the NHL to win a game and will look to change that against the Tampa Bay Lightning on Thursday without Barabanov.
