Mackenzie Blackwood made 32 saves, but the San Jose Sharks lost to the Florida Panthers 3-1 on Tuesday night.

Carter Verhaeghe, Sam Reinhart, and Kevin Stenlund scored for the Panthers. Anthony Stolarz made his season debut and made 27 saves for his ninth career win versus San Jose.

Fabian Zetterlund scored his second goal of the season. William Eklund and Thomas Bordeleau assisted on the powerplay goal. San Jose remains the last team in the NHL to win a game.

Eklund's assist to Zetterlund was very lovely. He used the time and space behind the net to get the puck back the other way for a wide-open goal.

Verhaeghe's goal came just 1:18 after the Sharks took the lead in the second period.

Anthony Duclair faced the Panthers for the first time since being traded to the Sharks in the offseason.

Tonight was the NHL Frozen Frenzy. All 32 teams were in action. ESPN hosted the Frozen Frenzy show and showed the games' broadcasts to keep fans in the loop NFL Redzone style.
