The San Jose Sharks placed Nathan Todd and Scott Sabourin on waivers Sunday morning.
The two forwards were never expected to make the NHL club. They will be available for other teams to be claimed for the next 24 hours.
If no team claims Todd or Sabouin, they will be assigned to the San Jose Barracuda.
NHL training camp rosters will be cut down to 31 by Monday. Expect more roster cuts to come today.
