The San Jose Sharks continue the preseason as the Los Angeles Kings come to SAP Center.
The San Jose Sharks take on the Los Angeles Kings in their fourth preseason game.
Although the Sharks haven't put out an official game roster, head coach David Quinn revealed a couple of lineup decisions to the media.
Quinn told THN that goalie Magnus Chrona will start. He also said that Luke Kunin will be in the lineup.
This will be his first game action for Kunin since tearing his ACL on Dec. 13, 2022, against the Arizona Coyotes.
"He was dying to get a game. [He] was all over me the other night that he wasn't in," Quinn said this morning. "He's looked good. He's felt good. The good news for him [is that] he's been through this before, so there's no uncertainty on what's going to happen. He doesn't get alarmed when there's some soreness because he's been through it."
Kunin will be the right wing on a line with Thomas Bordeleau as the center and William Eklund on the left wing.
Quinn emphasized how much the San Jose Sharks missed Kunin in the lineup. Kunin brings a physical presence that the Sharks lacked in the second half of last season.
Projected lines:
Mikael Granlund did not skate today and will not be in tonight's lineup. As said above, Bordeleau will take the spot of Kaspick.
Tonight's official lines will be out during warm-ups.
According to Mayors Manor, tonight's LA Kings lineup should look like this:
Fagemo – Turcotte – Laferriere
Pinelli – Thomas – Ziemmer
Maltsev – JAD – Chromiak
Ward – Helenius – Hudson / Doty
Moverare – Clarke
Connauton – Hicketts
Englund – Björnfot
Rittich
