The San Jose Barracuda will rebrand to Tigres Del Mar for three games this season.

The San Jose Sharks AHL affiliate, the San Jose Barracuda, will undergo a complete rebrand to Tigres Del Mar for three games.

Every aspect of the Barracuda will change to this theme during the two weeks before each matchup. Other than the center logo and unchangeable parts of Tech CU Arena, the Cuda won't exist.
This includes all social media platforms, the team website, and, of course, the team jersey. The Barracuda will be referred to as "the other team that plays in Tech CU Arena" during the two weeks.
Local graphic designer Steven Quintero designed the jerseys for the Cuda.
"Yeah, it's pretty cool that someone from the area is able to put in this artwork and display all this," Ethan Frisch said.
"It's really cool to see the purple and all the different colors and representations of this culture," Brad Marek said. "It's special, and we're excited to be wearing it and be helping the community."
Hispanic and Latinx culture is what Marek is refering to. But what about the jersey makes it so unique?

Roman Kinal said he has never worn a jersey like this before.
"I thought it was flashy, it's unique. You don't see many jerseys like this in any sport," Kinal said. "It's even cooler what it represents and that we're able to go out there and wear this in front of fans and represent a bigger meaning."
Marek said that the flowers that go across the bottom and collar of the uniform are what sticks out to him.
"The flowers [that are] going around the bottom and the collar. I think that's pretty sweet," Marek said. "The mask in the middle of the logo, that's pretty sweet too."

The word 'CUDA' is written out using triangles above the primary logo—a hidden but excellent way of displaying the culture on a team jersey.
