San Jose is hosting the AHL All-Star Game this season, and due to the weather, some players, including host San Jose Barracuda representative Shakir Mukhamadullin, have yet to arrive.
Mukhamadullin and the 'Cuda played against the Abbotsford Canucks last night in Abbotsford. The 'Cuda lost 3-2.
Media members have been informed that Mukhamadullin is "en route" but haven't been given any further updates. Abbotsford representative Arshdeep Bains hasn't arrived either. Neither player participated in warmups for the first event of the weekend.
Abbotsford has confirmed that Bains will not attend tonight's skills competition.
Other players are missing from the event as well.
California is experiencing a massive weather event with high-speed winds and heavy rain.
The event will start shortly, and THN will provide updates as they become available.
