San Jose Sharks prospect Quentin Musty was named OHL Performer of the Night last night after scoring three goals and adding two assists for the Sudbury Wolves.

Musty is second on the team in scoring with 77 points (31 goals, 46 assists). He is only behind Seattle Kraken prospect David Goyette, who has 96 points (36 goals, 60 assists).

The Athletic ranked Musty as the San Jose Sharks' second-best prospect. Boston College centerman Will Smith, drafted in 2023 before Musty, is considered the team's best prospect.

Musty has six game-winning and ten powerplay goals for the Wolves this season, proving he can score no matter how many people are on the ice. He leads the entire OHL in points per game at 1.79.

Musty told media members during training camp that he felt his team in Sudbury had a chance to win the Memorial Cup this season. Sudbury is headed to the OHL playoffs, the first step to completing that goal.

Musty will have a chance to make his NHL debut for the San Jose Sharks next season. He signed his entry-level contract before he went back to Juniors.
