San Jose Sharks legends Patrick Marleau and Joe Thornton got their jerseys retired by their junior teams this weekend.

Marleau had his jersey retired by the Seattle Thunderbirds on Nov. 3. Marleau played 143 games in the WHL and had 199 points.

Any player from the Seattle Thunderbirds will no longer wear his iconic number 12.

Marleau now has his jersey retired in the two places he played most in his hockey career.

Joe Thronton got his number raised to the rafters last night by the OHL's Soo Greyhounds.

Like Marleau, Thornton played two seasons in juniors. Thornton played 125 games for the Greyhounds and had 198 points.

It won't be long until Thornton's No. 19 is next to Marleau's No. 19 at the SAP Center.
