The 2023 San Jose Sharks' first-round pick, Quentin Musty, has been named OHL player of the week for his performance with the Sudbury Wolves.

This is Musty's first time being named as the OHL player of the week. Musty is scoring at an elite 1.81 points-per-game pace this season. That ranks second in the OHL.

He is second in scoring on the Wolves with 56 points (21 goals, 35 assists) in 31 games. His Wolves have a record of 23-14-3-2, which has them second in the Eastern Conference.

On January 18, Musty had himself a six-point night against the Barrie Colts.

Despite his terrific season, Musty was notably left off of Team USA's 2024 IIHF World Junior roster.

Musty discussed that and his season over the holiday break in an exclusive interview with THN.

Musty and Will Smith are the Sharks' top two prospects without question. Those two will be part of the team's core for a long time.
