Former Lightning superstar Steven Stamkos scored a great goal in his first preseason game with the Predators.

Tampa Bay Lightning legend Steven Stamkos played in his first preseason game with the Nashville Predators on Sunday (Sept. 22) against the Florida Panthers. It will undoubtedly take a lot of time for Lightning fans to get used to Stamkos wearing a Predators jersey, but he made an immediate impact with his new club.
Without much surprise, Stamkos scored a beautiful goal in his first preseason game with the Predators. After receiving a great feed from Predators forward Luke Evangelista, Stamkos sniped it home with the one-timer.
Stamkos is known for his outstanding one-timer, and he showed it off during this matchup. The Predators can expect plenty of that from the longtime Lightning captain once the regular season is here.

While Stamkos scored in his first preseason game as a Predator, Nashville lost to the Panthers by a 6-2 final score. Although it was a tough loss, Predators fans must have felt some excitement about their big summer addition scoring.
