The Lightning have called up one of their prospect defensemen.
The Tampa Bay Lightning have made a roster move ahead of their contest against the New York Islanders, recalling defenseman Max Crozier from the Syracuse Crunch.
With Crozier being called up to the Lightning's roster, that could indicate that Erik Cernak, who missed Tampa Bay's last game on Thursday (Feb. 22) due to illness, still might not be good to go.
Crozier, 23, has appeared in 32 games this season with the Crunch, where he has one goal, eight points, and a plus-6 rating. He also has played in seven games with the Lightning this season, posting two assists and a plus-1 rating.

The Lightning selected Crozier in the fourth round with the 120th overall pick of the 2019 NHL Entry Draft.
In a corresponding move, the Lightning have assigned recently waived forward Alex Barre-Boulet to the Crunch. In 36 games with the Bolts this season, he has six goals and nine points.
