The Tampa Bay Lightning have announced that forward Gage Goncalves has been re-assigned to their American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Syracuse Crunch.

Goncalves was recently called up to the Lightning's NHL roster. However, he is now heading back to the Crunch, where he should continue to be an important part of their forward group.

Goncalves has played in four games this season with the Lightning, where he had zero points, four hits, and an even plus/minus rating.

Goncalves has been excellent down in the AHL with the Crunch so far this season. In five games, the 2020 second-round pick has six assists.
