Anthony Cirelli took his offense to a new level last season when he set new career highs with 20 goals and 45 points in 79 games. However, he picked things up even further in 2024-25, and he is very close to having his best offensive season because of it.
In 54 games this season with the Tampa Bay Lightning, Cirelli already has 20 goals, 23 assists, and 43 points. With this, he needs just one more goal, five more assists, and three more points to set new career highs in each stat. When noting that the Lightning have 26 games remaining, he still has plenty of time to do so.
It is no secret that Cirelli has made a significant impact for the Bolts this campaign, and him being so close to setting new career highs in these stats demonstrates this. However, he has also maintained his intelligent defensive play with his increased offense and has a plus-20 rating on the season.
It will be fascinating to see what Cirelli's final numbers are at the end of the season.
