    During the Tampa Bay Lightning's April 7 contest against the New York Rangers, superstar Nikita Kucherov recorded his 80th assist of the season on Brayden Point's first-period goal. 

    With this, Kucherov has now recorded at least 80 assists in each of the last three seasons and has joined some elite company because of it. According to NHL Public Relations, the only other three players to record at least 80 assists in three straight seasons are Hall of Famers Wayne Gretzky (1979-80 to 1991-92), Paul Coffey (1983-84 to 1985-86), and Bobby Orr (1969-70 to 1971-72).

    It is undoubtedly massive that Kucherov has joined these three legends with this remarkable stat. No. 86 has been such a dominant player for the Lightning over the year, and this latest accomplishment only builds on his Hall-of-Fame-worthy resume even further.
