This Lightning superstar scored an excellent goal against the Flyers.

The Tampa Bay Lightning fell to the Philadelphia Flyers in the shootout by a 2-1 final score on Thursday night (Nov. 7). Overall, both teams played a hard game, and their goaltenders showed up. The Lightning just could not get it done in the shootout.
Nikita Kucherov scored the Lightning's only goal of the night, and it was a true beauty. During the final minute of the first period, Kucherov stickhandled the puck all the way from the Lightning's defensive zone before scoring a sensational wraparound goal.
Kucherov is now tied with Florida Panthers star Sam Reinhart for the NHL lead in goals with 11. In addition, Kucherov has 12 assists, 23 points, and a plus-6 rating in 14 games so far this season.
