Tampa Bay Lightning forward Luke Glendening played in his 800th career NHL game during the Bolts' latest matchup against the St. Louis Blues.

Glendening, 35, went undrafted, so it is undoubtedly a big accomplishment that the veteran forward has reached 800 career NHL games.

Glendening's NHL career started during the 2013-14 season with the Detroit Red Wings. Since then, he has emerged as an effective shutdown center who thrives at killing penalties. This element of his game is a significant reason why he has lasted in the NHL so long.

In 800 career NHL games over 12 seasons split between the Red Wings, Stars, and Lightning, Glendening has 79 goals, 126 points, and 1,523 hits.
