Nikita Kucherov is having a truly special season.

Victor Hedman speaks with media following 7-0 shutout win against the Flyers

Tampa Bay Lightning superstar Nikita Kucherov had four assists in the club's latest win over the San Jose Sharks. This made him reach 80 assists for the third time in his career, becoming just the seventh player in NHL history to do so.

This was not the only major milestone he hit because of his dominant performance. He became the fourth fastest winger in NHL history to hit 120 points, achieving the feat in just 68 games. So, which players hit the mark faster than him? Jaromir Jagr (63 games), Mike Bossy (64 games), and Jari Kurri (64 games). That's some elite company to be with.

It's also important to note that while scoring has skyrocketed back up in the NHL, it still does not compare to the insanely high numbers for when these three legends played. This makes Kucherov's feat even more impressive.

Kucherov, 30, has appeared in 68 games this season with the Lightning, where he has 41 goals, 122 points, and a plus-6 rating.
