This Lightning star is making progress with his injury recovery.

It has been a little over a month since Tampa Bay Lightning star defenseman Mikhail Sergachev suffered fractures to his left tibia and fibula. While there is no set timetable for his return, he is making some serious progress.

Sergachev, 25, recently posted a video on his Instagram story of him working out on an underwater treadmill. As Lightning beat writer Chris Krenn noted, it has only been 39 days since the left-shot defenseman suffered his serious injuries, so this is quite impressive.

While this does not mean that Sergachev's return is imminent, it is simply great to see that he is able to work out again. It is a notable step in the right direction with his recovery.

In 34 games this season with the Lightning, Sergachev posted two goals to go along with 19 points.
