The Tampa Bay Lightning are coming off of a 4-2 loss at the hands of the Ottawa Senators. Despite the favorable match up on paper, the end result was not what the Lightning were hoping for.

Luckily for them, they have a couple of days to practice and regroup before their next game. Their next game isn't until Thursday February 22nd, when they play their last game of this four-game homestand against the Washington Capitals.

Today they ended off their practice with a shootout competition. There was a notable moment as one of Nikita Kucherov's teammates proved they could pull off his signature shootout move.
Brandon Hagel pulled off Kucherov's shootout move - which made it's way into the back of the net.
Having seen that in practice, Jon Cooper may need to add Hagel to the short list for the shootout. They may have a new secret weapon for next time a game comes down to a shootout.
