This is the third and final game of the NHL season between the Maple Leafs and Islanders.

It's game one post-All-Star break for the Maple Leafs and it comes against a fairly familiar foe.

The New York Islanders are in town for their fourth meeting of the season against Toronto. Each game has been competitive, but the Maple Leafs have been on the losing end of two games in overtime against the Islanders this season.

David Kampf will be out of the Maple Leafs' lineup on Monday after getting banged up prior to the NHL All-Star break. Bobby McMann likely draws into the lineup on Monday for Kampf.

Toronto's All-Stars took to their own pad to skate following their busy weekend, but look to get back on track when they step onto the ice for the second-half of their season.

Ilya Samsonov will get the start for the Maple Leafs in their first game back. The 26-year-old hasn't had a save percentage below .920 in his last three games after being placed on waivers at the beginning of 2024.

Mathew Barzal, the Islanders' only All-Star, remained in Toronto after spending the weekend in the city. New York will have their second practice since the All-Star break — a morning skate inside Scotiabank Arena — on Monday morning.

There, we'll likely get confirmation on their starting goaltender.

    Where to watch

In Canada, fans all throiughout the country can find the game on Sportsnet. In the New York area, the game will be on MSGSN. For the rest of the United States, you'll be able to stream the game on ESPN+ and Fubo Sports US.

Worldwide, the game can be streamed on NHL Live. Puck drop is scheduled for shortly after 7:00 p.m. ET.
