The Maple Leafs will take to the ice outside Toronto's City Hall on Thursday, Feb. 08.
The Maple Leafs are back with their annual outdoor practice at Nathan Phillips Square.
The team will host the three-day event in the square, just outside Toronto's City Hall, from Feb. 08- Feb. 10., per both the City of Toronto and Maple Leafs.
On each of the three days, the Maple Leafs will have what's called 'Activation Alley,' where you'll have the chance to meet some of the organization's alumni.
Thursday will see Activation Alley, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., a skills competition involving PWHL Toronto from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., followed by the Maple Leafs' practice from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.
In recent years, the team has taken the Subway to get to the square. It'll be fascinating to see what the Maple Leafs have in store this time, both in how they get there and what the practice will look like.
On Friday, Activation Alley will be from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. with a Maple Leafs alumni signing session.
Saturday will have a similar-looking day (with an alumni signing), but Activation Alley will be from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., and there'll be a Blue and White Alumni Game from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Plus, from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., fans can watch the Maple Leafs vs. Senators live in Nathan Phillips Square.
And, of course, there'll be free public skating throughout the three-day event.
