After being called up by the Vancouver Canucks on Wednesday, Arshdeep Bains returns to the lineup against the Dallas Stars. The AHL All-Star has spent the majority of March with the Abbotsford Canucks where he posted ten points in his last 11 games. Tonight will be Bains' sixth game in the NHL after a five-game stint in February.

When asked about Bains, head coach Rick Tocchet said, "I like the kid. He should just go play, you know, then use his speed. Advance the game as it goes. I think having those games early on is going to really help them. I think the game will be a little bit slower for him tonight. I think because he was here, what a month ago, I think that's gonna be a big help for him."

In five games this season, Bains has three shots and averaged 12:57 of ice time. He also threw five hits and saw some time on a line with J.T. Miller and Brock Boeser. Projected to play in tonight's game against the Stars with Miller and Sam Lafferty, he should be able to showcase his playmaking ability as he looks to record his first NHL point.
